05. Activate your email

Activate your email

The University provides you with an email account for academic and personal use. Your email address is composed of your NIU (which consists of: 100 + the 6 digits of the NIA that appear on the receipt of your registration) followed by @ An example would be

You can activate your email account from the day after the completion of your registration.

In the "User Identifier" field you must enter your NIU (the number that begins with 100XXXXXX). In the field "Activation Code" you must enter the 4-digit code that we have provided for access to the registration. If you do not remember it, check the 4-digit code and the NIU.

You will have to choose a password for your mail (the characters must have a capital letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol). You must also provide an alternative email address and a mobile phone number to request the recovery of your password if you need it.


The email account is provided by Google, so you must sign in to Gmail to use it. You must sign in with your full address ( and chosen password.

Once the account is activated, you will be able to access Aula Global and all the online services offered by the University. In this case you must use only NIU (100xxxxx) and the password you have chosen for the mail.
