The application for the Early Admission process is submitted online. 

Prepare your documentation:

Documents must be in Spanish or English.

In order to save the application you have to attach all the required documents.

The application allows you to upload files up to 4MB in various formats. The PDF format is the most suitable because it allows to group more pages in the same file and with less weight.

You must attach the following documentation:

  • Passport, NIE, ID card.
  • Academic certificate of the last two years of the Baccalaureate or High School:
    • If you have already completed the Baccalaureate or High School in addition to the certificate of grades, you must attach the Diploma obtained and, if you have taken the entrance exams to the university, attach them as well.
    • In case you have not yet completed your Baccalaureate or High School studies, you must attach the transcript of the penultimate year and the most updated transcript possible of the last year). In case you are studying an IB, you must also attach the "Final Predicted Grades".
  • Motivation letter: explaining the reasons why you want to study the degree chosen and why you want to study at this university.
  • Official Certificate of Language with a minimum level B2.
    • If you are going to study a 100% degree in English or bilingual and your native language is different from English, you must attach an Official Certificate recognized by the University that accredits at least B2 level. In case you do not have the Official Title you can fill in this responsible statement of languages (declaración responsable
    • If you are going to study a degree taught 100% in Spanish or bilingual and your native language is different from Spanish, you must attach an official title recognized by the University that accredits at least a B2 level. In case you do not have the Official Title you can fill in this responsible statement for languages 
  • Merits: Grades obtained in SAT, ACT or other standardized tests, or other academic merits such as participation in MUN, that you consider relevant (optional).
  • If your baccalaureate is from an educational system of the European Union, International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate, countries with agreement (Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Andorra or China) is a prerequisite that the family unit resides abroad, being necessary official accreditation (registration certificate, tax certificate, etc.)

Access to the application

The application will be submitted only online, incorporating a scanned copy of the required documents.

  • Registration: Register and get your access key. If you have any problems registering, it may be because you have some kind of previous relationship with UC3M. Try to retrieve your username and password by entering your ID, Passport or ID card and your date of birth here: Recover your password
  • Access: Access to the application (when you enter, click on "Access")

  • Cost: Online Application and Common App 
    • The application fee is 80€ and you can choose a maximum of two degrees (indicating the second option in the field 'Observations').
    • In addition, you can also apply through the platform 'The Common Application' (It costs 100$).
