La Doble Titulación Internacional en Administración de Empresas de la UC3M con ESCP Europe Business School es un programa conjunto con un claro perfil internacional.

El itinerario formativo se inicia en Madrid los dos primeros cursos, continúa en París y termina en el campus de ESCP Europe Business School en Berlín, Londres o Turín.

El programa se imparte en 3 idiomas: inglés, español y francés. Al terminar los estudios se obtienen dos títulos oficiales acreditados en el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior, es decir, un Bachelor en Management por ESCP (180 ECTS) y el título de Grado en Administración de Empresas por la UC3M (240 ECTS). La ESCP Europe Business School está considerada como la escuela de negocios más antigua del mundo y una de las mejores de Europa.

Posee campus en París, Londres, Madrid, Berlín, Turín y Varsovia. Su programa principal, el Master in Management, ha sido clasificado como el número 1 del mundo según el Financial Times.

Administrative Organization

This Double International Degree (DTI) is an international agreement between UC3M and ESCP Europe Business School  that will allow you to obtain, after completing a joint programme at both institutions, two official higher education degrees, one from each university: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management from ESCP (180 ECTS)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from UC3M (240 ECTS)

ESCP Europe Business School is an international business school and one of the leading Grandes Écoles in France. It is considered the oldest business school in the world (established in 1819) and one of the best business schools in Europe. It has campuses in Paris, London, Madrid, Berlin, Turin and Warsaw.

The academic fees for these studies are paid at source, i.e. you will pay the tuition fees at UC3M and will not have to pay tuition fees at the host university. You can also apply for Erasmus+ mobility support in the third year.

This bachelor's degree mostly taught in English, with some classes in French and Spanish, which also allows students to develop their build their skills in other languages. To achieve this, language subjects are offered in Spanish, Italian, French, German and Chinese.

Specific requirements for this DTI are a B1 level in French and a C1 level in English.

Students on this bachelor´s degree program will undertake two mobility placements, in the third and fourth academic years, at the Europe Business School campuses in Berlin, Turin, London, and Paris.

Erasmus+ funding may be requested for the third-year mobility placement.

    Entry profile

    The new students must be aware that what he wants the Degree in Business Administration is to provide training competitive as possible in the field of management and business management. For this reason, the level of exigency to be growing along the degree and therefore you should face the degree with the following attitudes:

    • Responsibility. You need to be aware that the daily work is the one that will achieve the objectives and the level of effort that will mark the level of results.
    • Receptivity. You will need to be open to all new ideas to be addressed in the degree.
    • Curiosity, dynamism. You has to be an entrepreneur, willing to discover new aspects of yourself.

    The knowledge acquired in high school or equivalent studies will be necessary to start the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. It's advisable that students have the following capabilities:

    • Numerical Reasoning. Ease of numerical calculations.
    • Logical reasoning. Ability to understand causal relationships and their effects.
    • Abstract reasoning. Ability to distance themselves from the problems so we can gain insights that enable its resolution.
    • Concentration. Ability to focus voluntarily on an activity in isolation from other events that occur around them.

    These capabilities, however, are not essential at the start of Grado, since the same ones will be acquired and worked in the right measure over the entire grade. What it is considered essential are those previously mentioned attitudes.

    The overall objective of the Degree in Business Administration is to train people who are able to create their own businesses. Also be able to play any kind of role in the field of leadership and management in companies or other public or private agencies. In order to meet this objective, a student who completes the Degree in Business Administration should be able to approach any problem with scientific rigor, using all the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed in the field of study Business Administration.

    Based on this objective, the overall profile of the graduate in Business Administration degree allows you to:

    • Identify business initiatives
    • Manage and administer companies or other public or private institutions
    • Integrate in any functional area of an organization
    • Solve problems in direction and management
    • Perform tasks of advisory and business consulting

    The student has a sufficiently wide range of electives to specialize in the following profiles:

    • Marketing Management

    Even the student can follow a methodological specialization to enable it to pursue a scientific career in the future.

    Learning outcomes of the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration

    1. Knowledge of Titles

    K1 - To know the principles and values of democracy and sustainable development, in particular, respect for human rights and fundamental rights, gender equality and non-discrimination, the principles of universal accessibility and climate change..

    K2 - To know basic humanistic contents, oral and written expression, following ethical principles and completing a multidisciplinary training profile.

    K3 - Address the effects of the presence of uncertainty in the problems faced by consumers and firms, the implications of risk aversion (or risk neutrality), the role of information and its value, as well as the strategic interaction between economic agents.

    K4 - To understand the fundamental elements of the national and international economic environment in which the company operates

    K5 - To understand and synthesize the functioning of the various public and private instruments available to the entrepreneur to finance his activity.

    K6 - Analyze the main tools for the analysis of the company's competitive situation (including digital transformation processes).

    K7 - Understand the different nature of the various variables of an economic problem and solve it using concepts of linear algebra, matrix algebra, and differential calculus.

    K8 - Know the legal regime of the different instruments of industrial property law at the service of companies (patents, trademarks, trade names or industrial designs, among others), as well as the legal foundations of the Spanish economic system and the basic rules that regulate the exchange of goods and services.

    K9 - To learn the concepts related to market behavior that are useful in the commercial management of the company.

    2. Skills of Titles

    S1 - Apply statistical methods to perform linear regression analysis and test hypotheses, and understand the nature of the different variables of an economic problem.

    S2 - Solve the conditioning factors that develop in any business organization (need to innovate, to permanently update knowledge, relationship with external and internal customers and suppliers, decision making in contexts of uncertainty, efficient time management), applying knowledge of a theoretical-practical nature.

    S3 - To plan and organize team work making the right decisions based on available information and gathering data in digital environments.

    S4 - To use information interpreting relevant data avoiding plagiarism, and in accordance with the academic and professional conventions of the area of study, being able to assess the reliability and quality of such information.

    S5 - Apply knowledge to identify with rigor, precision and scientific objectivity the social processes and possible solutions.

    S6 - To be able to formulate, debate and defend critical reasoning, using precise terminology and specialized resources on business phenomena, using the concepts and methodologies of analysis of the different disciplines of Business Administration.

    S7 - Be able to manage, identify, gather and interpret relevant information on business-related issues.

    S8 - Know how to make judgments that include an ethical reflection on fundamental business and economic issues.

    S9 - Demonstrate the ability to organize and plan work, to make decisions based on the information obtained and to make judgments based on critical thinking within their area of knowledge.

    S10 - Demonstrate good interpersonal communication and ability to work in multidisciplinary and international teams.

    S11 - Apply interpersonal skills to negotiate efficiently in labour conflicts, as well as to select, motivate and retain employees.

    3. Competences of Titles

    C1 - Be able to autonomously analyse, develop and defend an interdisciplinary problem related to the contents taught in the Degree, applying the knowledge, skills, tools and strategies acquired or developed during the course.

    C2 - To Know and be able to handle interpersonal skills on initiative, responsibility, conflict resolution, negotiation, etc., required in the professional environment.

    C3 - Ability to create and manage companies and organizations in response to changes in the environment in which they operate.

    C4 - Manage and prepare budgets and apply accounting tools to record and analyse a company's financial transactions.

    C5 - Be able to apply the scientific method to relevant business and economic questions, to pose a problem in this field, identifying a method to carefully interpret the available data.

    C6 - Assessing the adequacy of the strategies of business organisations and proposing improvements in these strategies based on information available both in the company itself and in its environment.

    C7 -Applying statistical and econometric tools to solve organisational problems.

    C8 - Apply knowledge of market research to collect and analyse data to guide marketing decisions, as well as to manage communication and advertising campaigns based on the analysis of consumer behaviour.

Study in English

This Bachelor´s Degree can be studied in English or Spanish during the first and second academic year at the UC3M campus.

The third and fourth academic year, which are taught at the Europe Business School (ESCP) campuses in Berlin, Turin, or London, will be taught in English. At the ESCP campus in Paris, subjects will be taught in English, although some subjects may be taught in French.

Students must demonstrate a C1 level of English and a B1 level of French by taking a test, providing one of the accepted official certificates, or in any other manner determined by the university. During the first weeks of the course, students will be informed of how they can demonstrate their language proficiency.
