Welcome to the Department of Statistics. The research of the Department is disseminated in articles published in national and international journals and in working papers. This work is supported internally by UC3M and externally by regional, national and international research projects. In addition, the Department's seminars and workshops are an essential means of communication and interaction with other researchers. The teaching activities of the Department of Statistics, in the three UC3M campuses, include courses in most undergraduate degrees, many master's programs and a PhD program.

Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Statistics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
The Department of Statistics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (uc3m) is offering FOUR POSITIONS for tenure-track Assistant Professors, with an expected starting date in September 2025.
Requirements:
- PhD in Statistics or closely related areas.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken), as candidates are expected to teach in English at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Position details:
- 6-year contract.
- Base gross salary of 26,000 euros per year (supplemented by the University; click here for more information).
Applicants who are not EU citizens must hold valid documentation to sign an employment contract in Spain before the starting date.
