General pre-enrollment for non european students

Students from non European Union countries or countries without agreement

A. Submit to the UNED Specific Competency Exams (PCE):

  • A.1. Requirement to apply for a place in pre-enrollment

To apply for a place in pre-enrollment, you must request the Bachilerato mode to UNED through its service UNEDasiss

To get the accreditation of Bachillerato mode, you must pass, in UNED, exams of certain courses, as indicated in the second link of this page.

If you do not obtain the accreditation of the modality you will not be able to apply for a place in pre-registration in the ordinary call, but you will be able to apply in the extraordinary call, as indicated in point B below.

  • A.2. Calculation of the University Access Qualification (up to 10 points)

Your University Access Qualificatio (CAU in Spanish) will be composed of 60% of your GPA in high school and 40% of the grades in UNED Specific Competency Exams (PCE), applying the following formula:

Access Grade = (0,2xNMB +4) + (0,1xM1) + (0,1xM2) + (0,1xM3) + (0,1xM4)

NMB= High School GPA.

M1 a M4= Qualifications obtained in the PCE, always that they are equal to or greater than 5.

  • A.3. Calculation of your admission grade (up to 14 points)

To the grade up to 10 that you have obtained, we will add up to four more points, by weighting of the grades obtained in the courses passed in the PCE, and in accordance with the provisions of our weighting table.

To do this, we will use the two courses that give the highest score, applying the formula:

Admission Grade = University Access Qualification (CAU) + (M1x0,1 o 0,2) + (M2x0,1 o 0,2)

M1, M2= Courses of modality or option, passed in the PCE

The grades obtained in the PCE will count twice: once, for the calculation of your Access Grade (up to 10) and another to reach up to 14 points in the Admission Grade.

  • Place application

When you have the Accreditation, you can apply for a place in the universities of Madrid, as indicated on this page.

B. Apply for a place in the extraordinary call for applications.

If you do not obtain the accreditation of the baccalaureate modality, you will be able to apply for a place in the extraordinary call (July). In that case, you could only access to bachelor's degrees with free places after the general distribution of places of the call.

Predictably, in UC3M there will be no free places after the distribution in September.

C. Early Admission Procedure

If you meet with all established requirements and you have good grades in your academic record, you can apply for a place by Early Admission Procedure.
