    The MSc in Marketing at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is a one year full time program offered in Madrid (Spain).       Application

      The request is made electronically through our application. Before starting the admission process it is important to consult the supporting information that we offer below:

      Requirements

      All applicants must have a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree (three or more years of university studies) from an official university. Students in the last year of their Bachelor’s studies may also apply for admission; their application will be considered upon confirmation that they have successfully completed their Bachelor’s program.

      The Master in Marketing is taught in English and full command of written and spoken English is required. You need to demonstrate proficiency in English by submitting the results of either a TOEFL score with a minimum of 575 (paper-based) or 233 (computer-based) or 90-91 (internet-based) ; or, Academic IELTS score with a minimum of 6.5 score overall and a minimum score of 6.0 on individual parts of the test; or Passed Cambridge Proficiency test. Through a personal interview, you will also have the opportunity to demonstrate a sufficient level of English. Students whose native language is English and students who have completed their Bachelor's university studies in English will have the English test requirement waived, upon presentation of the corresponding documentation.

       

      Admission criteria

      Admission will be decided by the Master Academic Committee. The Committee will search for the best candidates for the program on the basis of the following criteria:

      • Academic Excellence: Successful applicants will have excellent bachelor degree results, sound analytic backgrounds, and strong interpersonal skills. The Committee value the presentation of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) results, as evidences in candidates’ quality.
      • Language: Successful applicants will have a good and proven knowledge in written and spoken English.
      • Interviews may be used to evaluate and asses a candidate' fit with our program.

      Language requirements

      You can check the language requirements of generic language required to study a master at UC3M, depending on is in Spanish, English or bilingual.

      Foreign students

      Once admitted to the Master, foreign students with university degree issued by a higher education institution belonging to an educational system outside the EEES, must present, for enrollment, the diploma attesting equivalent training that allows access to postgraduate studies, legalized by diplomatic procedures, or “The Hague Convention Apostille”. More information about Legalization of Documents.

      If needed, documents must be accompanied by an official sworn translation into Spanish.

      • Place Reservation: 1.500€ (It will be paid once the student receives notification of admission to the master, and deducted from the first tuition payment)

      60 ECTS in the first academic year:

      • EU students: 9.000€ (150€/ECTS)
      • Non EU students: 13.500€ (225€/ ECTS credit)

      Additional information

      • You can register on the Master’s degree program when you have finished the application admission process and you have received your acceptance.
      • When performing the enrollment you can choose between Full-time enrollment or Part-time enrollment.
      • The email address which the University provides to the student upon enrollment will be used principally for communications with said student. For this reason, it is essential that it be actualized and periodically consulted.
      • Failure to make payment shall result in non-admission or termination of enrollment according to that established by the University. In case of annulment of registration because of failure to make payment, Universities can demand payment for previous enrollment in earlier academic years as a previous condition for enrollment.
        Universities shall not issue a diploma or certificate when a student has payments of any kind pending.

  • SCHOLARSHIPS

    UC3M Scholarships for the Year 2017/2018 *

    For the academic year 2017-18 is expected to publish a call for a maximum of 10 grants for payment of the net enrollment rates for students accepted into the Master, with the following provision:

    • 5 grants of € 1,500
    • 4 grants of € 3,000
    • 1 grants of € 4,500

    Application deadline: 31st May 2017.

    Resolution: June 2017.


    The number of grants and amounts specified in the Annex to the notice, may vary depending on the conditions of the candidates who apply to them, can be even deserted as assessed by the Selection Committee for each program.

    International Programs

    The Master in Marketing at UC3M offers students a unique opportunity to improve their curriculum visiting prestigious universities under 2 different exchange programs:

    • International Exchange program in the Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business (The City University of NY, CUNY) in the USA. The program is held in both Madrid and New York. Students spend the second part of the course in another country.The first semester takes place at the University Carlos III of Madrid (September – January), while the second semester is hosted by Baruch College (February – June).
       
    • The European extension programs are targeted to students that would like to extend their curriculum studying complementary disciplines, ranging from Finance, Management, Information Systems, or Accountancy, to Economics, and languages. Students can complete an extra 30 ECTS credits in a period of 3-6 months, after finished the regular program. Students can apply to an Erasmus Exchange Program in Copenhagen Business School (Denmark), Humboldt (Germany), Maastricht & Tilburg (The Netherlands), Nantes (France), U. Porto (Portugal).

      These agreements are integrated in the LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAM: HIGHER EDUCATION (ERASMUS +).

    Official recognition

    Students receive formal recognition for their academic study period abroad in the transcript of records and in the degree certificate.

     

    Admission

    Interested students must request admission to the International Program to the Master’s direction (at the end of the first term for the International Exchange program and at the end of the third term for the European Extension program). The admission to the program will be decided by the Master’s direction on the basis of the academic excellence. There are a limited number of places available.

    After being admitted into the International Complement program, the enrolment application and fees for any subject in our partner universities will be managed directly from Universidad Carlos III.

    The University will offer scholarships for all the students admitted to the program, awarded on the basis of academic excellence/record within the Master’s.
