Cybersecurity Tracks

The curriculum for the Bachelor's Degree in Internet Engineering, which is an update of the former Bachelor's Degree in Telematics Engineering, incorporates modern content on new trends and technologies in secure communications and the Internet, adding and expanding content on Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence in the curriculum.

In addition, a specific Cybersecurity track has been created in the curriculum, which will be reflected in the Suplemento Europeo al Título (SET) of students who complete it. To complete it, students must earn 12 ECTS credits through specific elective courses, which are listed below:

  • Linux Networks Administration (3 ECTS)
  • Cybersecurity risk analysis (3 ECTS)
  • Secure architectures (3 ECTS)
  • Security in mobile systems and communications (3 ECTS)
  • External Academic Internships (6 ECTS): It must be demonstrated that academic practices include aspects related to Cybersecurity.

With this curriculum, the Bachelor's Degree in Internet Engineering is at the forefront of technological training in the field of secure communications and the Internet, training future professionals who will be leaders in the field of cybersecurity.
