Scales of applications

For the allocation of places available, the applications of UC3M students who want to change of degree will value about a maximun of 11 points. It's necessary the requirement of the recognition of 30 ECTS credits in the requested degree.

This scale is made according the following criteria:

1. Up to 5 points for the access mark to university studies that student currently studies. The marks of specific phase, if you had,  will not be considered.

• Between 6 & 6,99 - The 6.0 access mark will value with 1 point, increasing 0.1 points for every tenth above 6.0.
• Between 7 & 7,99 ‐ The 7.0 access mark will value with 2 points, increasing 0.1 points for every tenth above 7.0.
• Between 8 & 8,99 ‐ The 8.0 access mark will value with 3 points, increasing 0.1 points for every tenth above 8.0.
• Between 9 & 10 ‐ The 9.0 access mark will value with 4 points, increasing 0.1 points for every tenth above 9.0.

2. Up to 6 points for the grade point average (GPA) of academic record of the university studies that the student currently studies.

• Between 5 & 5,99 - The mark of 5.0 in academic record will value with 1 point, increasing 0.1 points for every tenth above 5.0. 
• Between 6 & 6,99 - The mark of 6.0 in academic record will value with 2 points, increasing 0.1 points for every tenth above 6.0.
• Between 7 & 7,99 - The mark of 7.0 in academic record will value with 3 points, increasing 0.1 points for every tenth above 7.0.
• Between 8 & 8,99 - The mark of 8.0 in academic record will value with 4 points, increasing 0.1 points for every tenth above 8.0.
• Between 9 & 10 - 6 points.
