    The Master's degree in Advertising Communication provides advanced bilingual instruction coupled with intensive practical training in the design and implementation of advertising and communication campaigns, branding content marketing management, creativity development, media planning and transmedia content projects. In addition, marketing training, brand strategy, research on new experimental technology trends and mastery of the most advanced techniques, both online and offline, are also covered.

    This program includes its own professionally mentored advertising agency, the 3M Advertising Lab, where the students will work for real world leading brands applying advanced research design techniques, performing all the steps for the creation and development of communication campaigns.

    The Master offers the opportunity to take an international exchange at Baruch College, University of New York City, as well as Eramus+ exchanges with leading European universities.

      The request is made electronically through our application. Before starting the admission process it is important to consult the supporting information that we offer below:

      Requirements

      It will be necessary to hold a Spanish official university degree or another issued by an institution of higher education located in another member state of the European Higher Education Area empowering therein for access to Master studies.

      Language requirements

      You can check the language requirements of the generic language required to study for a Master at UC3M, depending on whether it is in Spanish, English or bilingual.

      Foreign students

      Once admitted to the Master, foreign students with university degree issued by a higher education institution belonging to an educational system outside the EEES, must present, for enrollment, the diploma attesting equivalent training that allows access to postgraduate studies, legalized by diplomatic procedures, or “The Hague Convention Apostille”. More information about Legalization of Documents.

      If needed, documents must be accompanied by an official sworn translation into Spanish.

      • Place Reservation: 600€ (It will be paid once the student receives notification of admission to the master, and deducted from the first tuition payment)

      60 ECTS in the first academic year:

      • EU students: 6.600€ (110€/ECTS)
      • Non EU students: 9.900€ (165€/ECTS)

      Additional information

      • You can register on the Master’s degree program when you have finished the application admission process and you have received your acceptance.
      • When performing the enrollment you can choose between Full-time enrollment or Part-time enrollment.
      • The email address which the University provides to the student upon enrollment will be used principally for communications with said student. For this reason, it is essential that it be actualized and periodically consulted.
      • Failure to make payment shall result in non-admission or termination of enrollment according to that established by the University. In case of annulment of registration because of failure to make payment, Universities can demand payment for previous enrollment in earlier academic years as a previous condition for enrollment.
        Universities shall not issue a diploma or certificate when a student has payments of any kind pending.

    UC3M Scholarships for the Year 2018/2019 *

    CALL AM01-18/19

    For the academic year 2018-19 has been published a call for a maximum of 6 grants for payment of the net enrollment rates for students accepted into the Master, with the following provision:

    • 6 grants of € 3,000

    Application deadline: 31st May 2018.

    Two possible resolutions: March and June 2018.


    The number of grants and amounts specified in the Annex to the notice, may vary depending on the conditions of the candidates who apply to them, can be even deserted as assessed by the Selection Committee for each program.

    Second Edition of Rocío Orsi Job Master's Thesis Award

    The Carlos III University of Madrid announces the Second Edition of Rocío Orsi Award for Master's Thesis. To this award may opt all students who submitted, defended and approved in the programs under the Faculty of Humanities, Communication and Documentation, credits corresponding to Master's Thesis (TFM) during the period from February 1 and on October 31, 2017.

    • Amount: 500 €.

    Applications deadline: October 30, 2017.

    Resolution: November 2017.

    International Programs

    The Master in Advertising Communication of the UC3M offers its students a unique opportunity to enrich their training with international exchanges of first level. It offers the possibility of complementary international courses completing 30 ECTS abroad.

    Two different exchange programs are offered:

    1. A) The International Exchange program at Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business (CUNY) in the United States. Students can extend their training in 30 ECTS for a period of 3-6 months, after completing the regular 60 ECTS program.  
    2. B) European extension programs that are part of the lifelong learning program: HIGHER EDUCATION (ERASMUS +).

    They are aimed at students who wish to expand their curriculum by studying complementary disciplines, ranging from digital communication, digital marketing, creativity, languages ​​and other related fields. Students can extend their training in 30 ECTS for a period of 3-6 months, after completing the regular 60 ECTS program.

    Students can apply to an Erasmus Exchange Program in:

    1. 1) Regent’s University London
    2. 2) Audencia Business School
    3. 3) University Rotterdam Erasmus
    4. 4) Tilbourg University

     

    Official recognition

    Students receive formal recognition for their academic study period abroad in the transcript of records and in the degree certificate.

     

    Admission

    Interested students must request admission to the International Program to the Master’s direction (at the end of the first term for the International Exchange program and at the end of the third term for the European Extension program). The admission to the program will be decided by the Master’s direction on the basis of the academic excellence. There are a limited number of places available.

    After being admitted into the International Complement program, the enrolment application and fees for any subject in our partner universities will be managed directly from Universidad Carlos III.

    The University will offer scholarships for all the students admitted to the program, awarded on the basis of academic excellence/record within the Master’s.
