The Master Degree in Film and Television offers specialized training in both cinematic and televisual creative processes, focusing on the development of audiovisual projects, and giving special attention to the practices of production and direction.
The Master’s main goal is the acquisition of advance knowledge in the fields of executive production and audiovisual aesthetics within the context of the current technological landscape. Consequently, our academic program traverses all the integral stages and processes of audiovisual creation: selection of ideas and treatment, script writing, the package, the pitch, financing, production, shooting, postproduction and promotion.
This multidisciplinary training allows us to train a new generation of professionals who are able to combine the two key facets that characterize the contemporary filmic and televisual professional: mastering the technical and economic management at the core of any production process and the knowledge and internalization of a language and a series of artistic practices that are essential in any audiovisual work.
Qualified professionals and prestigious academics and researchers compose our teaching body. Therefore, our degree makes a series of necessary connections with the contemporary audiovisual sector. This fact, along with the students’ participation in top-notch audiovisual companies through internships, has become the distinguishing value of this Master’s degree.
