The Interuniversity Master's Degree in Analytical and Bioanalytical Sciences and Technologies is a distinctive interuniversity degree taught jointly by 6 Universities of the Community of Madrid (University of Alcalá (UAH), Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC), Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) and San Pablo-CEU University (USPCEU)).
This is an Official Postgraduate Degree lasting 1 year (60 ECTS) that combines the teaching and research experience of 6 of the most prestigious departments of Analytical Chemistry in Spain in this field, all of them located and interconnected in the Community from Madrid.
The central objective of the Master's program is to provide a high-quality, multidisciplinary scientific training qualification in Analytical Sciences and Technologies and cutting-edge bioanalytics. This program is designed for graduates with degrees in Chemistry and other related fields (Pharmacy, Biology, Health Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences and Technologies, Food Science and Technology, Experimental Sciences, Engineering Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering and Engineering Physics) with a focus on experimental sciences. Through the program, students will acquire a strong foundation of knowledge, skills, and specialized competencies to launch a research career of scientific excellence. This research career will equip them to identify and solve problems within the strategic ecosystems of economic and social relevance, particularly in public health and sustainable development, which are critical pillars of our current well-being.
The master's degree has two official sites: Universidad de Alcalá (UAH) and Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM).
UC3M is affiliated to the UAH and will teach an elective course of 6 ECTS and some laboratory practices (see syllabus).* This information is subject to change
