What you’ll learn

By the end of this course, you'll be able to:

  • Understand Management Information Systems (MIS) and their role in today’s organizations
  • Be familiar with the major trends in MIS and MIS infrastructures (Cloud, Big Data, ERPs, outsourcing) and how these evolutions will affect workplaces and business strategies
  • Identify the basic alternatives for MIS procurement/development, and the major challenges in each approach

What are the learning activities?

  • An online course (SPOC) including learning materials and activities
  • Case studies and assignments

Assessment

  • Exam (60 % of the final grade)
  • Continuous evaluation (40 % of the final grade)
