Universidad Carlos III de Madrid hosts each academic year around 4.500 international students coming from all over the world, making up almost 22% of all UC3M students, and contributing to a bilingual, multicultural and international environment in our campuses.
There are different modalities of admission for incoming international students:
- Exchange students admitted through any of the almost 900 agreements signed with the best universities in the world for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, obtaining recognition in the university of origin for all the courses completed during their stay at UC3M.
- Degree Seeking Students, whose objective is to complete their studies at UC3M and obtain a graduate or postgraduate degree in our university.
- Other tailored programs such as the Cursos de Estudios Hispánicos (Courses in Hispanic Studies or CEH) to study the Spanish language, history, literature, art and other cultural features, or to participate in the Study Abroad Program (SAP).
- Study for a semester or a whole year at UC3M as a Free Mover.
