The objective of the Ecuador Program is to guide and support students that require guidance in their academic development.
Student body participation in the program is voluntary.
Those who participate in this program will receive personalised monitoring with regards to their needs in key aspects such as:
- Guidance to avoid drop-out
- Guidance for academic and professional development: postgraduate studies, scholarships and grants...
- Entrepreneurial initiatives
- Information about the University’s offer and services of guidance and employment
The program is expanded on below by Centres: School of Humanities, Communication and Library Science and EPS Polytechnic School.
- Law and Social Sciences
Aimed at students that have passed their first year in any undergraduate degree or dual degree.
The objective of this program is to guide and support students that have passed the first year of their degree and desire personalised guidance in their academic development. The faculty tutor of this program will support the participants in the configuration of their academic curriculum. The student body that participates in this program will receive personalised monitoring in key aspects such as:
- Guidance in academic and professional development
- Postgraduate studies, scholarships and grants
- Training activities in their field both inside and outside of the university
- Entrepreneurial initiatives
- Information about the University’s offer and services of guidance and employment
The definitive selection of participants in this program will be made considering average marks and motivation.
Registration: Until 20th October 2019
- EPS Polytechnic School
Aimed at students that have taken four or more reassessments of a compulsory module or basic training, that have registered for their fifth or sixth reassessment this year.
The student body that participates in the program will receive personalised monitoring from a professor who will analyse their academic situation in order to offer them guidance that will help them pass the subjects satisfactorily. This support will be offered to them over the whole academic year. The objective is to avoid them abandoning their studies.
Registration open until 24th October 2019.
- Humanities, Communication and Library Science
Aimed at two different groups:
Group 1
Second year students and above.
This program aims to guide and support students that have passed the first year of their degree and desire personalised guidance in their academic development. Group 2
Students that have used two or three reassessments on a compulsory module or basic training (they must be on their third or fourth reassessment).
The student body that participates in this program will receive personalised monitoring from a faculty professor who will analyse their academic situation in order to give them guidance that will help them pass the subjects satisfactorily. This support will be offered to them over the whole academic year. The objective is to avoid the student body abandoning their studies.
