ODISEA

Grupos de trabajo en aula
  • University Carlos III de Madrid is working on a group named ODISEA with other institutions ( IMDEA AGUA, IMDEA MATERIALES, UNIVERSIDAD AUTÓNOMA DE MADRID) to design a development plan for researchers at each stage of their careers.

This group was created after conducting a co-ordination meeting for EURAXESS Spain in September 2016 in a VITAE workshop: “Exploring career development support for Researchers within the EURAXESS network”.

The goal is to design a common stategy for a development plan for each stage of researchers’ professional career (R1to R4).
Analyze the research staff in every institution.

  • Determine training needs at every stage of the researcher’s career.
  • Identify existing resources in each institution
  • Establish a development plan and standardize minimum skills common to each stage
  • Determine training resource needs (training, mentoring, information, events, etc.)
  • Publicize and improve access to existing resources.
  • Determine how to measure the impact of career development activities.
