PhD Programme in Mathematical Engineering

The PhD Programme in Mathematical Engineering is the natural continuation of the second-cycle postgraduate studies linked to the Master’s Degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics and the Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Industrial Mathematics.

Objectives

The program aims to equip students with the necessary tools to tackle complex scientific and technological problems through:

  • A solid foundation in mathematics, physics, and statistics
  • The formulation of suitable mathematical models
  • The theoretical and/or numerical resolution of such models
  • The development of analytical skills applied to engineering
