Find answers to the most frequently asked questions about Cambridge and IELTS official certifications:
When will I have the results of my Cambridge Qualifications exam (B2, C1, C2)?
The results will be published between 4 and 6 weeks after the exam. You will find them in the document called Statement of Results, which you will be able to download by following the instructions in your Confirmation of Entry. The Language Centre will notify you via email when the results are published.
I do not yet have the hard copy of my certificate; can I upload the Statement of Results to the English level accreditation form?
Yes, you can upload this document to have it recorded in the language passport. However, it is the student’s responsibility to have the original certificate available in case it is requested at a later date.
I have lost my certificate; how can I get a copy?
You need to contact Cambridge to request a copy of your certificate:
I am under 18 years old; can I register for the Cambridge exam at UC3M?
Yes, minors who turn 16 in the year in which the exam takes place may register for the Cambridge exams offered at our Centre.
How can I obtain the certificate for the IELTS exam I took with you?
The issuance of IELTS exam certificates is carried out by the British Council. At the time of registration, you will be able to indicate the address where you would like it to be sent. It is the student's responsibility to keep the original certificate in case you need it at any point for other procedures.

How long does it take for the hard copy of the certificate to arrive?
We receive it at the Language Centre approximately 8 weeks after the date the exam was taken.
The Language Centre will communicate via email the date on which the certificates will be available for collection.
What period do I have to collect my certificate for a Cambridge exam taken with you?
You have one year from the notification of availability for collection that we will send you from the Language Centre. In accordance with the regulations established by Cambridge, certificates will be destroyed out with this period.
Can elective credits be recognized for having my official language certificate?
Elective credits are not recognized for having taken an official exam.

When will I have the results of my IELTS Computer-based exam?
The IELTS Computer-based results will be available 3 days after the exam date.
