Catedra Deloitte Legal de Derecho Empresarial

The Deloitte Legal Chair of Business Law created the 13th of November of 2019 between Carlos III University of Madrid and Deloitte Legal, S.L.P., promotes the study, education and dissemination in relation to Commercial and Business Law.

About our Chair

In particular, research and analysis of the different laws that govern business activity in all its fields, including commercial, corporate governance, transactional and arbitration matters, regulatory and compliance, and in general, any others of application that could be of interest, both domestic and internationally; always with the vocation to contribute to the improvement and clarification of the existing regulatory framework, the rationality and consistency in its application. The aim of the Chair is to contribute, both to justice and to the promotion of Spain's competitiveness.

The creation of “The Deloitte Legal Chair of Business Law” has the following main objectives:

The study and reflection on the current business regulatory framework in Spain, in the European Union and in the world, trying to contribute specifically to progress, knowledge of other experiences and the proposal of solutions to common problems.
The research that combines theoretical and practical refection with the idea to develop and dissemination practical and viable proposals in the area of business law.
The dissemination, education and publication of the research activities, projected and carried out through rigorous and prestigious publications, or the holding of academic meetings, and seminars.
The education of jurists and, in general, professionals in any field related to business and economic activities, in the different matters of business law.
