Cross-cutting activities School of Law

At Graduate School of Law each year we offer two cross-cutting activities with the aim of improving some of the soft skills of our students that are not part of their hard knowledge training of each Program. Specifically, we focus on searching legal databases, improving the presence in social networks through the acquisition of appropriate capabilities to write CV or Bios, or fostering networks and job seeking with prestigious companies and institutions.

Finally, with these activities we encourage students of the different Master Programs of the School to interrelate with each other and get to know each other by creating a social network that serves for present and future.
 

ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-24

SESSION III

AFRONTANDO DESAFÍOS: GESTIÓN DE SITUACIONES DIFÍCILES EN TU CARRERA PROFESIONAL

This cross-cutting session at the Graduate School of Law will will deal with the management of conflicts within the legal profession: how to manage teamwork, how to deal with day-to-day issues, how to deal with promotions in an office, receiving bad feedback. All from a practical perspective.

• Speaker: Gloria Álvarez (Senior HR Adviser at Herbert Smith Freehills). She will be accompanied by a lawyer from the firm who will give practical examples and will be able to tell you about his own experience.
