Accommodation

It is important that you ensure your accommodation in advance before your arrival, since it is increasingly difficult to find accommodation in Madrid due to the large number of students who come to study each semester.

The UC3M Student Support Services provide an accommodation website with complete information you should check.

We offer you some tips depending on the type of accommodation you prefer to book:

1. On-campus residences in Getafe and Leganés. On the website you can find all the information about fees, offered services and online application forms.

Students should bear in mind:

- Full-year students have priority in the selection process.

- Students must contact directly the Residences and follow their procedures and deadlines.

- The International Office is not in charge of managing the accommodation thus they cannot help the students to solve their doubts.

- Once students have applied for, they should wait until the end of application process for an email confirming whether their application has been successful or included in the waiting list.

- The available rooms are limited and normally the demand exceeds the actual capacity of the facilities.

2. Given the limited number of available rooms in our residences, we recommend that you search accommodation information on the websites of the companies which have signed an agreement with Carlos III University. Thera are multiple choices according to your interests, from shared apartment with other students to host families. If you have any type of problem the International Office will try to solve it with the companies above mentioned.

3. If you decide to search accommodation on your own through other websites, please read these recommendation to avoid rental scams.
