Student ID / UC3M Account

usuario y contraseña

Once you have been nominated by your home university, you will receive an e-mail with your UC3M username (NIA) and your temporary password (a 4-digit number). It is not immediate. It may take several weeks.

This Student ID called NIA (100xxxxxx) serves to identify you as a UC3M student, and grants you access to all University services: Aula Global, personal e-mail account (100xxxxxx@alumnos.uc3m.es), online course registration, Library services, computer rooms, etc.

You must change your 4-digit temporary password and set a new one in order to activate your UC3M account and be able to access UC3M services. Activate your account here.

If you cannot find your e-mail or forget your 4-digit password, click here and complete these two fields in the form:

  • ID: type your passport number
  • Date of birth: type your date of birth with the format dd-mm-yyyy

Then you will get two numbers:

  • Identificador de usuario: your UC3M username (NIA) starting with 100xxxxxx
  • Clave de cuatro dígitos: 4-digit temporary password

Please try to always use your UC3M email account to communicate with us; it is the main address we will use to communicate with you as well. We will also use your UC3M email to send you any information or your Transcript of Records at the end of your stay. It works as a regular Gmail account and can be easily used from your computer and phone.

Also, that’s the address you will use during your stay at UC3M to communicate with professors and receive information from all UC3M services, so it’s a good idea that you start using this account often.

To log in in the UC3M e-mail account you can also click on: nube.uc3m.es

If you have forgotten your password, please recover it on https://cambiatuclave.uc3m.es
