Research at UC3M: DEPARTMEN OF SIGNAL THEORY AND COMMUNICATIONS

Project:

The exceptional increase in data traffic and its heterogeneity, driven by massive machine-type and mission-critical (autonomous vehicles, autonomous industrial plants, xReality) Internet-of-Things communication, brings significant challenges to wireless networks. Within this context, we aim to study fundamental trade-offs in terms of scalability, latency, reliability and capacity, as well as methods to achieve the quality of service requirements for various applications. The framework of artificial intelligence (AI) will be explored, as an enabler of proactive, intelligent, and data-driven wireless networks.
