School of the Arts 2018
6/4/18
Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) and the Círculo de Bellas Artes (CBA) present this year’s School of the Arts, which features a wide range of monographic courses and practical summer workshops on topics related to art and culture.
UC3M and the CBA’s School of the Arts, which has become a benchmark for summer courses in Spain, begins on the 18th of June with interdisciplinarity and dialogue with the present as its central focus.
This year's programme consists of seven theoretical courses and six workshops of artistic experimentation whose themes range from cultural management, film, photography, writing and gastronomy to the Japanese world, fashion, journalism, rock, travel and video games.
One of the aims of the School of the Arts is to provide guidelines for critically interpreting the world in which we live by means of its artistic and cultural manifestations. To this end, prestigious intellectuals and professionals will deliver its educational programme, which is aimed at students, professionals and anyone interested in art and culture.
The courses and workshops will be held from the 18th to the 29th of June and they will each consist of 20 hours.
