UC3M broadens it graduate program offering with new University Master’s degrees

Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) will offer three new University Master’s Degrees in academic year 2017/2018: International Legal Practice, Photonics Engineering and Civil Responsibility. The number of official Master’s programs offered has risen to 66, in addition to the 53 UC3M-accredited programs (30 Master’s, 13 specializations and ten expert level programs.)

The Master’s in International Advocacy forms professionals capable of meeting the demanding challenges of legal globalization, through education and training in law of a transnational and markedly practical nature. The methodology employs soft skills techniques, necessary for the international practice of law, which complements the classical legal disciplines, such as oral and written expression, negotiation, and management of international clients and teams.

At the same time, the Inter-University Master’s in Photonics Engineering  focuses on education and training in scientific knowledge and advanced technology in photonics systems and devices which,  in light of the surge in new hybrid technologies, such as Biophotonics, Environmental Photonics, Photonics Assistance, Consumer and Communications Photonics, Medical Photonics and Nanophotonics, among others, represent one of the areas with greatest future potential for economic development.

Lastly, the University Master’s in Civil Liability seeks to encompass, from a practical and research perspective, a legal area of utmost importance. It tackles subjects such as fundamentals of civil responsibility, insurance for civil responsibility and business activity, civil responsibility for damages in labor relations, civil responsibility in international private relations, Public Administration patrimonial responsibility, etc.

In addition, UC3M, through its School of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning, is launching 16 new degrees for the coming academic year:  Master´s in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language (Online), Master’s, Specialist and Expert in Education Innovation “New Education Laboratory”, Specialist in Public Affairs & Lobbying, Specialist in Active Citizenship and Good Governance, Specialist in Compliance with Financial Market Regulations, Specialist in Banking Law and Financial Regulation, Specialist in Competition Law, Specialist in Corporate Law, Specialist in Energy Law, Specialist in Transport and the Postal Sector Law, Specialist in Regulatory Economics, Specialist in Procedural Law Practice, Expert in Library Cataloging and Normalization, and Expert in Inclusive Tourism.
