Fourth meeting of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid Business Forum

The Social Council of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) held the fourth Business Forum, attended by a select group of senior managers from notable Spanish businesses. The event, held on the Getafe campus on April 13 was attended by UC3M Rector, Juan Romo, and the Social Council President, Matías Rodríguez Inciarte, Vice-president of Banco Santander.
Present in this edition of the Business Forum, was Ana María LLopis, Grupo Día President, forming part of the group made up of the following companies and entities: Acciona, Airbus-Group, Banco Santander, Ericsson, Iberdrola, Indra, Microsoft-Ibérica, Repsol, Siemens and Telefónica.
The Business Forum was created in February 2012 as an initiative of the UC3M Social Council, with the aim of strengthening links between the University and the business sector through collaboration and the financing of University projects and activities.
In addition to the plenary sessions, the Business Forum worked in joint commissions made up of the University, the Universidad Carlos III Foundation and top Forum company executives. At present there are two such groups: the R+D+i commission which focuses on matters related to research, innovation and entrepreneurship activities at the University; and the human resources commission, which analyzes issues related to students, talent and professional training for companies.
