Description
The group on Analysis of Resource Contents for Information Organization and Policies in a Knowledge Society, in line with the research activities of the department and the Agustín Millares University Institute for Documentation and Information Management, centres its activities on the following research areas:
Information Policies and Technological Innovation oriented toward building the Knowledge Society.
Contributions of documentation for the educational field, particularly those that are related to instruments of representation, organization, recovery, and management of contents, aimed at optimizing the processes of teaching and learning for acquiring informational competencies (Information Literacy).
Instruments for the improvement of the management and performance of libraries and information services in a technological setting.
Modelling and implementing assessment models based on indicators with which to measure progress toward the Knowledge Society in informational and educational institutions.
