Ph.D. Program

PhD in AEROSPACE ENGINEERING

This Ph.D. program responds to the need for specific training and research in the field of Aerospace Engineering. The main objective of the program is to capacitate students with a series of technical and scientific competencies in the field of aerospace science and technologies. Graduate doctors of the program will be qualified to find innovative and disruptive solutions to high-impact and high-interest problems in the field of aerospace engineering through a combination of experimental, computational, and technological methodologies pertaining to aerospace science and engineering, with a marked multidisciplinary, intersectorial and international character.

Interuniversity PhD in FLUID MECHANICS

Fluid dynamics plays an essential role in a huge variety of natural phenomena and industrial processes. The equations that govern this dynamics are well defined, but their resolution and interpretation represent a formidable scientific challenge in various situations of scientific and technological interest. The objective of this doctoral program is to train researchers to effectively address a wide spectrum of fluid dynamic problems, establishing collaborations with industrial sectors on strategic issues with a medium/long-term horizon.
