Introduction to AI & cybersecurity: Learn the fundamental concepts

The Carlos III International School (C3IS) at Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) will host the Introduction to AI & cybersecurity course. This is an opportunity to learn about the main concepts of artificial intelligence, its applications, and the challenges in the online age.
This intensive course, taught in English at Carlos III University of Madrid, will offer undergraduate students a comprehensive introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity.
Through theoretical classes and practical laboratory sessions, students will explore fundamental concepts of Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), data preprocessing, threat detection, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
The program focuses on practical skills through real-world case studies, such as intrusion detection, malware analysis, phishing prevention, and vulnerability management.
Ethical considerations, adversary attacks, and the future of AI in security will also be addressed, culminating in a final project that integrates the tools and techniques studied throughout the course.
The course will be taught entirely in English.
