11/5/24
The Tufts University delegation met with Elisa María Ruiz Navas, Director of Engineering Programs and Coordinator of Research Labs at the Carlos III International School (C3IS).

Professor Ruiz welcomed Susan Sánchez Casal, director of Tufts University in Madrid; Chris Swan, dean; Guillermo Cámara, academic coordinator; and Mayte de las Heras, deputy director of programs, at the Leganés campus of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M).
The meeting served to strengthen academic ties and prepare for the arrival of Tufts University students at the UC3M Polytechnic School. Elisa María Ruiz Navas underlined the relevance of these visits: “Collaborating with prestigious universities such as Tufts University strengthens our commitment to internationalization and enriches the academic opportunities for our students in the field of engineering.
This rapprochement between the two institutions reaffirms UC3M's commitment to academic excellence in a global environment. Moreover, it takes place in parallel with UC3M's events for the Madrid Science and Innovation Week 2024.
