The Qatari Embassy and UC3M explore avenues of collaboration to increase the presence of Qatari students

The Carlos III International School (C3IS) of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) has received at its Getafe campus representatives from the Embassy of the State of Qatar in London: Fahad M. Al-Kuwari, Cultural Attaché; Ibrahim Mohamed Al-Fadala, Student Supervisor; and Anas Radi, from the Academic Department (Europe). The visitors were received by Álvaro Escribano Sáez, director of the Carlos III International School, and Guillermo Díaz, coordinator of International Recruitment.

The meeting focused on the presentation of UC3M's academic offerings and the different admission channels available for international students, with the aim of establishing a line of collaboration between the two institutions. In addition, the aim is to increase the number of Qatari students at the university and to open up new opportunities for cultural and academic cooperation.
Alvaro Escribano commented on the visit: “We are excited to have the opportunity to connect and cooperate with the Qatari Embassy, as their students represent a valuable contribution to the university community. We seek to provide them with a quality academic experience in a diverse and multicultural environment”.
For his part, Guillermo Díaz adds: “UC3M is committed to internationalization and inclusion. These types of collaborations not only strengthen our ties with institutions around the world, but also enrich our academic and cultural offerings. Today's visit is an important step towards that goal.”
