Visit of representatives from Tulane University and CIEE to Carlos III International School
10/15/24
Today, the Carlos III International School (C3IS) of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) received a visit from two prominent representatives of the international academic community: Lauren Bix, Senior Program Coordinator of the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, and Eero Jesurun, Director of the CIEE Center. Both met at the Getafe campus with Álvaro Escribano Sáez, director of the Carlos III International School, and Loles Morell, director of the C3IS Office. David Gil, from UC3M's International Relations Service (SERINT), also participated in the meeting.

During the visit, they discussed opportunities for academic collaboration, exchanged ideas about international programs and explored possible new synergies between UC3M, Tulane University and CIEE. These conversations strengthen UC3M's international ties, especially within the framework of the Study Abroad C3IS program, which continues to attract students from some of the world's most prestigious universities.
Lauren Bix and Eero Jesurun's visit underscores the importance of strengthening global partnerships and maintaining the commitment to academic excellence and international education that distinguishes UC3M.
