Pan-European Seal Programme | UC3M
The Pan-European Seal Professional Traineeship Programme, of which UC3M is a member, is an initiative that bridges the gap between academia and the intellectual property (IP) labor market. The program is promoted by two of the world's largest intellectual property offices: the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), based in Alicante, and the European Patent Office (EPO), based in Munich.
The Pan-European Seal is an IP program that covers various academic fields. It provides high-achieving university students with access to a paid traineeship at either the EUIPO or the EPO, helping them break into the competitive world of intellectual property while gaining professional experience in a multicultural environment.
Each year, the Master in Intellectual Property will submit a list of interested candidates to the EUIPO and the EPO. Both offices will evaluate the candidates' merits and decide who will be admitted to the Pan-European Seal Program. Selected candidates will undergo a traineeship with an initial duration of one year (starting in September of the year they complete their Master's degree), which can be extended up to three years. The contractual relationship will be established directly between the selected candidate and the EUIPO or the EPO.
Registration to the online training courses: register by clicking to the upper right corner on the Pan-European Programme Seal websites and select to register as "Members of the Pan-European Seal Programme", by choosing UC3M from the drop-down menu.
