Seminars 2026-2027
Process Mining y Process Automation | Celonis
The seminars will introduce the company and cover various process mining use cases across different industries, the relationship with partners and the consulting world, as well as the application of Artificial Intelligence in process mining.
The Celonis seminars will cover the theoretical aspects of Process Mining technology, along with use cases presented by the specialized consulting firm Atlas Cloud and the company Repsol. They will also feature a hands-on section where attendees will have the opportunity to actively explore the Celonis platform. It will explain what a process is, how the technology helps identify process inefficiencies, what data is required to build an optimal data model for process mining, and how Artificial Intelligence is influencing the sector.

APTENT. Tecnología y Accesibilidad | Tecnologías de Accesibilidad en la comunicación
Thanks to technology, it is much easier today to eliminate the communication barriers that people with sensory disabilities face in their daily lives. In this seminar, we will focus on communication accessibility applied to leisure, education, culture, and job placement—highlighting the challenges and opportunities to ensure that everyone can fully enjoy culture.
The first part will analyze how to transition from research to creating a technology-based company that transfers research results back to society.
The second part will evaluate different accessibility tools.

Verisure
SesSION 1: Desarrollo de software en sistemas embebidos, no es tan fácil como parece
Have you ever wondered why writing C++ for a microcontroller looks nothing like writing C++ for a server? Did you know that a single product can house both a microcontroller and an application processor, each with its own memory and real-time constraints? Are you familiar with the engineering tools and practices that make it possible to bring modern C++—along with all its safety guarantees—to a resource-constrained device sitting in the homes of millions of customers?
In this session, we will explore how Verisure designs and develops embedded software for its IoT devices, from architecture to the continuous integration pipeline that puts it to the test before it hits production.
CONTENTS
- Introduction: The Challenge of Building a B2C IoT Product at Scale
- The Hardware Behind the Software: Multi-core Architectures (Cortex-M4 + Cortex-A7) and Custom Linux with Yocto
- C++23 on resource-constrained systems: security, compile-time computation, static polymorphism, concepts such as interface contracts, std::expected versus exception-based execution control, and the RAII/stack-first philosophy as a deterministic resource management practice
- From the laptop to the target hardware: cross-compilation on hardware and the CI/CD pipeline (CMake, Jenkins, SonarQube, test coverage) and updates.
- Putting the system to the test: emulators versus real hardware, testing, debugging in embedded environments, and QA
- A career in embedded systems: what distinguishes a junior from a lead and a principal
- Closing remarks and Q&A session

SesSION 2: De la Observabilidad a los Centros de Operaciones Autónomos impulsados por IA
In this seminar, we will explore how observability has evolved from a set of tools focused on technical metrics and infrastructure into a strategic discipline capable of providing visibility into the real impact of technology on business outcomes. We will analyze how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing IT operations through advanced anomaly detection capabilities, intelligent event correlation, predictive analytics, and automated incident response. Finally, we will reflect on the future of operations centers, where autonomous agents will collaborate with human teams to proactively detect, investigate, and resolve issues, drastically reducing response times and improving the resilience of digital services.
CONTENTS
- The Evolution of Observability: from Infrastructure to Business
- Artificial Intelligence Applied to IT Operations (AIOps)
- Advanced Automation and Autonomous Response
- AI Agents as the Next Generation of Digital Operators
- The Future of Autonomous Operations Centers

Amazon Web Services | Construyendo aplicaciones con agentes de IA en AWS
This two-day theoretical and practical session is designed to train participants in developing advanced Artificial Intelligence solutions using AI agents on AWS.
During the first phase, we will explore real-world use cases implemented by leading companies, analyzing the latest innovations in applied AI and best practices for intelligent agent architectures. Participants will gain a deep understanding of specialized AWS AI services and agent orchestration tools, along with proven strategies for integrating these technologies into scalable enterprise solutions.
The second phase consists of a hands-on hackathon where each participant will work in a fully configured AWS virtual environment to build their own agentic AI solution. Guided by experts, attendees will implement specific use cases—from initial setup to full deployment—applying the concepts learned in the theoretical phase. At the end of the session, participants will present their solutions, with the opportunity to win prizes for the most innovative and technically sound implementations, thereby encouraging the practical application of the acquired knowledge.
