Impulso Docente: Introduction

What is it?

Plan IMPULSO Docente promotes the improvement of the teaching and learning process at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid Madrid through the implementation of various stages of training and support for faculty. In September 2026, we will begin a new academic year in which we will face various challenges together, including the development of active methodologies capable of strengthening the skills of a new generation of students and the adoption of Generative Artificial Intelligence.

You can be a key agent of change. UC3M provides you with a teaching framework that is not only innovative, but also sustainable in terms of teaching commitment. To this end, Plan IMPULSO Docente will help you apply new methodologies in real subjects, offer you flexible strategies so that you can progress at your own pace, and provide you with expert training staff with whom you can share this exciting journey.

Plan IMPULSO Docente will begin in March 2026 and run until December of that year. In the first few months, the training will focus on understanding students and their context, learning how to improve group management and dynamics, and exploring new forms of continuous and formative assessment. At a later stage, you will be able to apply what you have learned to the design of specific subjects that can be implemented in the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year.

The first training session takes place in Getafe or Leganés from 10 am to 1 pm or from 5 to 6 pm during the week of March 16.
