Introducción
Engineering Research Labs in Madrid es un programa organizado en colaboración entre la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid y el Programa Study Abroad de la Universidad California (UCEAP), que constituye un espacio para la formación técnica en el ámbito de la ingeniería.
Durante el periodo comprendido entre los meses de junio y julio, los participantes se integrarán en una experiencia de inmersión académica dividida en dos ejes fundamentales:
- Integración en Laboratorios de Investigación: Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de incorporarse a equipos de investigación de la Escuela Politécnica Superior de la UC3M. Bajo la tutela de investigadores, colaborarán de manera directa en proyectos de investigación de su elección, permitiéndoles aplicar metodologías científicas en entornos de desarrollo real y contribuir al avance de líneas de investigación vigentes.
- Formación en Ética para Ingenieros: Complementando la práctica investigadora, la asignatura Ética para Ingenieros analiza la ética no como un límite al progreso, sino como la guía para orientarlo, abordando desde la libertad y responsabilidad personal hasta los desafíos de la inteligencia artificial, la sostenibilidad y la propiedad intelectual.
