The course prepares professionals with a high level of education who will be able to address, understand and resolve conflicts and controversies deriving from legal and economic globalization.
The qualification provides students with added value resulting both from a detailed study of major themes raised by current legal developments in society today and an initiation into research and methodology applicable to the knowledge acquired.
There are two recommended entry profiles for prospective candidates:
Students who have obtained their degree and who wish to pursue further studies in private law with a marked research bias. This profile is largely typical of those particularly academic students who are planning a university career beginning with their master's degree and culminating in a doctorate in law.
It may also be suitable for those who, while they have not specifically planned to work in higher education, or they may well have definitely decided not to, nevertheless consider that their law degree does not meet their needs or their desire to further their knowledge of the institutions of public law which they consider would be completed by undertaking a master's research degree which would, irrespective of their career path, enormously improve their opportunities for achieving excellence in their chosen profession
Furthermore, those who have already obtained their degrees or graduates with some professional experience who wish to increase their knowledge of / law and undertake research activity.
The main goals of the master's degree include:- Preparing highly qualified professionals who are able to cope with the challenges presented by a changing and globalized world for which they will have received specialized training.
- Initiating students in research techniques to assist them in discovering their own solutions to the numerous and unprecedented challenges that today’s world raises for businesses and organizations in the world of law.
- Maintaining the value accorded to the master’s degree in the market so that it represents the highest educational level achieved through both specialization, and providing a grounding in research techniques which will enable students to respond independently to new legal problems arising in current society.
Completion of their Master's degree will enable students to access, among others:
