RESEARCH STAY AT UC3M: HUMANITIES: PHILOSOPHY, LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE THEORY DEPARTMENT

PROJECT: Social Imagination and Prejudices: His current research project explores how the social imagination contributes to maintain structures of oppression such as racism and heterosexism through the recirculation of scripts that pathologize certain forms of identity and behavior. He investigates how the diversification of the social imaginary through the inclusion of out-of-the-mainstream voices and perspectives can help to keep in check the biases and prejudices inscribed in what is imagined as normal.
