RESEARCH STAY AT UC3M: SIGNAL AND COMMUNICATIONS THEORY DEPARTMENT

PROJECT: The proposed research was on the use of Sequential Monte Carlo Methods for studying Complex Dynamic Systems. The goal of the project was to initiate work that would allow for building a methodology for studying such systems. We have also addressed the problem of applying Particle Filtering to Complex Systems, where complex systems are considered to be systems with nonlinearities and high dimensionality of the state space.

STAY PERIOD: SEP 09 - FEB 09
