Best Interactive Forum Paper Award in the ARFTG Microwave Measurement Symposium

Date: June 30th 2026

Guillermo Carpintero-Del-Barrio, Ashish Kumar,

We are very happy to share that we just received the news that our paper, "Dielectric Waveguide-Based Test Probes for Millimeter-Wave Range Test and Measurement Instrumentation", a collaboration between GOTL and Leapwave Technologies has received the Best Interactive Forum Paper at the 107th ARFTG Conference, which took place at The Westin Boston Seaport District, Boston, MA, USA on June 12, 2026 colocated with IMS2026.

The Automatic Radio Frequency Techniques Group (ARFTG) is the primary platform for cutting-edge test and measurements technologies, bringing together the world’s leading industries, experts, and scientific community. The 107th ARFTG Microwave Measurement Conference is co-located with IMS2026. The theme for this conference is Measuring the Future: High-Frequency Metrology for Intelligent, Connected, and Quantum Worlds.

The paper presented our results on a novel test probe concept based on dielectric waveguides for on-wafer testing of high frequency devices, like millimeter-wave integrated circuits (MMICs). Our novel approach advantage is to offer a continuous frequency measurement range from 50 GHz to 500 GHz.

We thank the ARFTG Executive Committee, and now look forward to receive the award certificate at the 108th ARFTG conference co-located with the IEEE Radio and Wireless Week in Tampa Florida 17-20 January 2027
