🚨 🚨 We are happy to announce our participation in the upcoming EuCNC & 6G Summit to be held between June 2nd and June 5 in Málaga. 🎉

TERA6G Project will contribute in two workshops:

1.- Microelectronics and Photonics Hardware Challenges and Solutions towards 6G. Tuesday, 2 June 2026, 9:00-12:30, Sala 2 (1st floor). Organisers: Luis Pessoa (Univ. Porto/INESC TEC, PT), Eric Klumperink (Univ. Twente, NL) Alexios Birbas (Univ. Patras, GR) and Ioannis Tomkos (Univ. Patras, GR) with the talk on "Photonic-enabled 2D antenna arrays for 6G transceivers" presented by Guillermo Carpintero

2.- Fourth International Workshop on Wireless Communications in Terahertz (IWCT). Tuesday, 2 June 2026, 14:00 – 17:30, Sala 2 (1st floor)
Organisers: Kenta Umebayashi (Tokyo Univ. of Agriculture and Technology, JP), Nuutti Tervo (Univ. of Oulu, Centre for Wireless Communications, 6G Flagship, FI) and Joonas Kokkoniemi (Univ. of Oulu, Centre for Wireless Communications, 6G Flagship, FI) with the talk on “Optical THz Technologies from TERA6G project” presented by Guillermo Carpintero

Also, in the session CMP2 – mmWave and SubTHz Components and Systems
Wednesday, 3 June 2026, 17:00-18:30, room Sala 3 (1st floor), Kalliopi Spanidou will present our contributed paper "Towards 2D mmW/THz Broadband Antenna Arrays for Beamsteering" in collaboration with TERA6G Project project partners LeapWave Technologies (Muhsin Ali, Alejandro Rivera), Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI (Simon Nellen, Dr. Robert Kohlhaas), University of Adelaide (Daniel Headlandu) and Grupo de Optoelectronica y Tecnología Láser (GOTL) at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Kalliopi Spanidou, Luis Gonzalez Guerrero and Guillermo Carpintero) with the first realization of a photonics-based two-dimensional (2D) array architecture concept that combines a three-dimensional (3D) dielectric rod waveguide (DRW) antenna with a 4×4 InP-based photodiode (PD) array.

We are looking forward to meet you there!
