TERA6G at MWP 2025
Event Date: October 14th - 17th 2025

We have participated in the International Topical Meeting on Microwave Photonics MWP2025 that took place from October 14 to 17 in Quebec city.
It is a key conference for our group, focused on microwave photonic devices, systems, and applications, technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Photonics Society, the IEEE Microwave Theory & Technology Society, and the @Institute of Electronics, Information and Communications Engineers (IEICE) Japan.
The papers that were presnted were:
An invited presentation in the Tuesday, October 14 Workshop on "Photonic control of antennas" moderated by Maurizio Burla. The title of the talk was "Photonic integrated circuits for control of mm-wave phased arrays", presenting an approach to 2D antenna arrays for 6G based on dielectric waveguide rod antennas, developed within TERA6G Project
An invited talk on Wednesday, October 15 in the session "We4 - High-performance microwave photonic signal sources 1" moderated by Carlos Pousa. The title of the talk was "All-dielectric broadband interconnects and devices", with an overview for a novel electrical interconnect technology based on dielectric waveguides with potential to reach 1 THz bandwidth, a perfect guided interface for high frequency components, developed within European consortia TERA6G Project, POLYNICES Project and national research projects funded by AGENCIA ESTATAL DE INVESTIGACIÓN «Prueba de Concepto» 2023 (PERTE CHIP) project “PERTE-PIC” (grant PDC2023-145929-C32) and Grant PID2023-149035OB-I00 funded by MICIU/AEI/ 10.13039/501100011033 and by ERDF/UE.
We had the great opportunity to meet colleagues Jose Azaña, Carlos Pousa, Lute Maleki, Maurizio Burla
