YUFE

YUFE also foments the collaboration of its universities with local entities and the city governments where they are located.

This involvement at the local level entails specific activities of civic commitment that enhance implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to promote sustainability and social inclusion.  All of the actions feature the University Community, especially students, with support from academic tutors and administrative staff.

UC3M currently carries out the following programs: 

 

Helpdesk

  • YUFE Help Desk for Young Entrepreneurship: UC3M students, tutored by University faculty, respond to legal queries from young entrepreneurs.
  • YUFE Help Desk for Foreigners: addresses questions and legal doubts from foreigners about employment contracts, leases, social services, etc.

Volunteer Program for academic tutoring

This program targets the needs of groups who are especially disadvantaged and whose situation has worsened during the pandemic. Volunteers from UC3M, in collaboration with secondary schools, engage in academic support to reinforce school subjects as well as the digital skills and competences of the participants.
