Professor Carmen Paz Aparicio
Carmen Paz-Aparicio is a tenured Associate Professor ( Profesora Titular , I3-certified) of Management at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), and Director of the Research Chair on “Leadership and Diversity,” a joint initiative of UC3M, Fundación CEOE, and Fundación Adecco, within the #CEOPorLaDiversidad Alliance.
She holds a PhD in Business Management from the University of Oviedo and was awarded the I3 Certification by the Spanish Ministry of Universities in recognition of her outstanding research trajectory. From 2009 to 2012, she was Visiting Professor of Management at the College of Charleston (South Carolina, USA). She has extensive professional and international experience in multinational companies, having lived and worked in Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, and the United States.
Her research focuses primarily on leadership, international business, and cross-cultural management. She has published in leading academic journals such as Journal of World Business, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, and Leadership and Organizational Development Journal, among others.
Her teaching activities span International Business Management, Strategic Management, Human Resource Management, Leadership, and Organizational Behavior. She is the author of two book chapters in reference handbooks on International Human Resource Management and Offshoring.
