Lines of research

The Indra-UC3M Chair in Radio Frequency Technologies intends to develop the following lines of work fully or partially for the 2021-2022 academic year:

  • Use of analysis and design tools for microwave circuits and commercial antennas.
  • Use of analysis and design tools for microwave circuits and GREMA's own antennas.
  • Design and development of passive microwave circuits such as combiners, splitters, filters, and multiplexers.
  • Design and development of power amplifier (PA) and low noise amplifier (LNA) circuits in microwave bands.
  • Planning of measurement strategies for microwave circuits.
  • Extension of the above points, if appropriate, to millimeter and/or submillimeter bands.
  • Design and development of small antennas and broadband antennas.
  • Design and development of active antennas in microwave bands.
  • Design and development of antenna arrays.
  • Antenna planning and measurement strategies.
  • Development and integration of transmitters and receivers in radar and communications systems.
  • Development of antennas and communications systems for satellites.
  • Quantum communications systems.
