Lines of research
The Indra-UC3M Chair in Radio Frequency Technologies intends to develop the following lines of work fully or partially for the 2021-2022 academic year:
- Use of analysis and design tools for microwave circuits and commercial antennas.
- Use of analysis and design tools for microwave circuits and GREMA's own antennas.
- Design and development of passive microwave circuits such as combiners, splitters, filters, and multiplexers.
- Design and development of power amplifier (PA) and low noise amplifier (LNA) circuits in microwave bands.
- Planning of measurement strategies for microwave circuits.
- Extension of the above points, if appropriate, to millimeter and/or submillimeter bands.
- Design and development of small antennas and broadband antennas.
- Design and development of active antennas in microwave bands.
- Design and development of antenna arrays.
- Antenna planning and measurement strategies.
- Development and integration of transmitters and receivers in radar and communications systems.
- Development of antennas and communications systems for satellites.
- Quantum communications systems.
