Professor Ana María Garrocho Salcedo

Ana M. Garrocho Salcedo, PhD in Law from UC3M (2014, European mention and extraordinary doctoral award).  She is a permanent  lecturer in Criminal Law in the Department of Criminal Law, Procedural Law, and History of Law (Associate Professor accreditation with mention of excellence) She also co-directs the Master's Degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the Carlos III University of Madrid.

Her main lines of research focus on general part of international criminal law, structures of imputation in complex organized structures, crimes of omission, the general theory of criminal intervention, and  gender violence; special part of Criminal Law: corruption, crimes against fundamental rights and public freedoms and arms trafficking. She is currently working on a monograph on the crime of murder.

She has carried out several research stays in Germany at the Universities of Cologne and Göttingen and, more recently, at the Humboldt University of Berlin
