Professor Evita Paraskevopoulou

Evita is a tenured associate professor of Financial Economics and Accounting in the Department of Business Economics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She holds a degree in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece, and a PhD in Science, Technology and Innovation Management from Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom.

Her research focuses on the public and private management of innovation as well as on management control practices. She is currently involved in projects studying (i) the role of management control systems for innovation, (ii) the implications of public policies on firms' innovative strategies, (iii) the development of EU regulation and the allocation of public funds.
