Ester Martínez-Ros

Professor Ester Martínez-Ros

Ester Martínez-Ros is the Director of the UC3M Continuing Education School. She is Professor of the Department of Business Economics at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She received a doctorate from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1998) and a Master's in Economics from the University College London (1994).

His main lines of research are focused on the analysis of innovation decisions by companies as well as their impact on the results and the distribution of income, on the study of the determinants of innovative activity and on the existence of effects neither observed nor controlled in the estimation of these innovation models. Some of her contributions have been published in the International Journal of High Technology Management Research; Applied Economics, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, Small Business Economics, International Marketing Review, Journal of Advertising Research, International Journal of Industrial Organization, European Management Review, Technovation, International Journal of Hospitality Management.

In the field of management, Ester has been Vice Dean of the Business Administration and Management degree at this University, as well as Vice Dean of Promotion and Quality and co-director of the Executive Master in Health Organization Management and of the PROGRESSA Executive Program of CAIXABANK. She has also served as deputy director of the Department of Business Economics and is currently the Director of the On-Line Master in Business Management and Administration. She is currently the chairman of the Degree Evaluation Committee at the Castilla y León Agency for University Quality (ACSUCYL).
