Carmelo Núñez

Professor Carmelo Núñez Sanz

Carmelo Núñez Sanz received the Bachelor Degree with honors in Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1982, and the Ph.D. degree with especial mention, also in Mathematics, from the same university in 1986.

He is from 1991 an associate professor of the Department of Economics in the Carlos III University. Previously, he was an assistant professor in the Mathematical Analysis department of Complutense

university and, from 1988, an associate professor in the same department. 

 

He has published several papers in different journals, such as Revista de la Academia de Ciencias de España, Illinois Journal of Mathematics, Glasgow Journal of Mathematics, Annali di Matematica Pura ed Applicata, Journal of Economic Theory, EconomicTheory and Decisions in Economics and Finance.

Also, he has participated in many international conferences in Spain and several countries.

His research projects have included topics related to Mathematical Analysis and Economic Theory. He is currently a member of the project "Diversity, Cooperation and Conflict", directed by the professors Francisco Marhuenda and Ignacio Ortuño. 

 

He has held several responsabilities in the department of Economics, such as secretary, vice chairman of teaching and vicechairman of quality.
