At AULA, the International Student and Educational Offer Fair, from the 22nd to the 26th of March in Hall 7 of IFEMA, UC3M will present its bachelor's degree course selection, which has fifty degree programmes. UC3M is one of the Spanish universities with the greatest choice of English and bilingual (38) bachelor's degrees, which represent 74% of its selection for the 2023/24 academic year and 20% of its students are from other countries.

At the International Postgraduate and Continuing Education Fair, which will be held in Hall 5 of IFEMA from the 23rd to the 25th of March, UC3M will present its postgraduate course selection, which consists of 76 official master’s degrees, including three new ones: the Master’s Degree in Circular Engineering; the Master’s Degree in Industrial Design Engineering; and the Master’s Degree in Quantum Technologies and Engineering. In addition to the master’s degrees, UC3M offers 34 continuing education master's degrees, including the new Continuing Education Master’s Degree in Fundamentals of Law and Disruptive Technologies. In addition, it offers 9 expert diplomas and 4 specialist diplomas.

Other AULA activities

UC3M is organising “RoboticAULA” from the 22nd to the 24th of March so that students can get a first look at the world of robotics, through 9 micro-robotics workshops, during the morning, for groups of 20 students per session. In this activity, they will learn to control the motors of a small mobile robot with basic movement commands using the Arduino control board. These workshops, taught by lecturers from UC3M’s Systems Engineering and Automation and Mechanical Engineering departments, are aimed at students in their fourth year of secondary school studies and A level students.

The “MAD FT, building single-seater racing cars at UC3M” activity will show how a racing car is designed and the laws of Physics that allow it to be better and faster. A 30-minute session will be held each day, in which a team of UC3M engineers who are participating in a university competition will teach the design principles of a real prototype.

In the AULA for Equality, on Thursday 23rd from 12 pm to 12:45 pm a meeting with female researchers from UC3M as part of the STEM4GirlsUC3M programme will be held. In this same space and day, from 6 pm to 6:45 pm, a workshop on “Microphysics of Power” will take place. At the Community of Madrid in AULA stand, on Friday the 24th from 4 pm to 8 pm, UC3M will have its “Recreamatics and mathemagics” workshop, to showcase mathematics in an enjoyable way through games and tricks.

Madrid es Ciencia Fair

UC3M is participating in the 12th Madrid es Ciencia Fair, from the 23rd to the 25th in Hall 5 of IFEMA, with scientific outreach activities to bring together, in an enjoyable way, a sample of the R+D+I work carried out at the University in different scientific and technological disciplines, such as archaeology, cinema and engineering.

At the UC3M stand during the morning of Friday the 24th, from 10 am to 2:30 pm, you can discover how to carry out open digital archaeology or take a unique journey into digital cinema since the 19th century. In the afternoon, from 3:30 pm to 8 pm, Artificial Intelligence's influence on the remote control of a robotic arm or the secrets of fluid dynamics will be shown.

In addition, at the Madrid es Ciencia Fair’s Agora that same day, from 4 pm to 4:20 pm, an interactive and informative talk entitled “Mathemagics with cards and numbers” will be held. In addition, on Saturday 25th, a racing bike from the MOTO-MAQLAB-UC3M team will be displayed from 10 am to 8 pm.
