The cut-off mark increases in 79 percent of UC3M degrees

First-choice demand is increasing and all places offered are covered

The cut-off marks at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) have increased in 79 percent of its degrees compared to the previous year. The University has the highest cut-off mark among all of the institutions in Madrid for 29 of its degrees, filling all bachelor's degrees places in the June application period. The average entry grade in June 2021 was 12.417 (two tenths higher than last year). This data confirms that the UC3M continues to attract the best students.

In relation to the demand for university studies, 195 applications were received for every 100 places offered. The UC3M’s appeal is also evident in the fact that 48.4 percent of its students come from outside Madrid.

The degrees with the highest cut-off mark in the School of Law and Social Sciences were the Dual Bachelor in International Studies and Law (13.584), the Dual Bachelor in International Studies and Business Administration (13.500), and the Dual Bachelor in International Studies and Economics (13.430). In the School of Humanities, Communication and Library Science, the Dual Bachelor in Journalism and Film, Television and Media Studies (12.478), and the Bachelor in Film, Television and Media Studies (11.600). In the School of Engineering, the Dual Bachelor in Engineering Physics and Industrial Technologies Engineering (13.595), the Bachelor in Engineering Physics (13.368), and the Bachelor in Aerospace Engineering (13.246).
